Want To Read Bible Following Chronological Plan? That’s Great

A new year is upon us, and with it, fresh wishes for your salvation and the growth of those among you who are already saved arise in my heart. “God keeps a record of how much we long for you all in the bowels of Jesus Christ, “we write. Who knows what the upcoming year may bring to the table. These believers will be the most steadfast because they have no dependence on themselves or on other creatures, but alone on Jehovah our Righteousness. And when that happens, we will be able to declare, as David did, “Though the proud have slandered me severely, we have not turned away from thy law.”

Bible Reading Procedure

“Princes have punished me without a justification, yet my heart is filled with amazement at the power of Your Word. The idea of putting together a Scripture reading plan, to which as many people as God would make willing would agree, has been on my mind for a long time.

We have these same stirrings in my heart on a regular basis for my own congregation. The amount of fruit produced over the last few years has been enormous. It has provided us with numerous opportunities to talk about the Bible that we would have missed otherwise. We have all come together because of the Word of God. Are you ready to follow the Chronological Bible Reading Plan?

Plan With Modifications

It is a tremendous pleasure to have had the opportunity to read through the entirety of God’s Word. was a teenager when we made the decision to read the Bible cover to cover for the first time. In order to finish the Bible in a year, we followed a curriculum that my grandma gave me, and it took me two years to accomplish it. During my seminary studies, we completed a second straight-through of the Bible, this time following M’Cheyne’s strategy. Later, while pursuing additional graduate study, we went through the Bible for the second time, this time without following any sort of plan, but simply starting at Genesis and continuing all the way through to Revelation.

Using the Chronological Bible Reading Plan: An Overview

We are overjoyed to be able to provide you with this monthly downloadable chronological Bible reading plan! Taking this approach will assist you in understanding the “grand picture” of the Bible in a way that simply reading it through will not. A chronological Bible reading plan will help you to better understand the gospels by allowing you to read the account of Christ’s birth in each gospel before moving on to read about the next event in Jesus’ childhood in all the gospels, and so on.

Alternatively, you can download all 12 monthly plans in a single pdf file if that is what you want. Take a printout of the reading plans and store them in a notebook for future reference. Checkboxes will make it easier for you to keep track of what you have read. This is especially useful when reading passages from different places in the Bible rather than reading them in the order in which they were written.

What’s Last?

If you have fallen behind in your reading, you can take advantage of the catch-up days to get back on track.
